In 2020 with my own additions to the seasons beyond.

  • The two best seeds have dominated the Mountain West tournament since 2011 and won 11 of the 14 offered titles. However, No. 2 was more successful with six titles than No. 1 compared to only five for the top seed. New Mexico won 6 seed in 2024. Remember that a Mountain West tournament 2020 just because the event was set up a week because of a convention that was finally canceled due to the pandemic. 2 seeds (6):
  • 2011, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2019, 2020 1 seed (5):
  • 2013, 2017, 2021, 2022, 2023 4 seeds (1):
  • 2015 5 seeds (1):
  • 2018 6 seeds (1):
  • 2024 6 bids (1):
  • 2024 (4-6, 11 members) 5 bids (1):
  • 2013 (2-5, 9 members) 4 bids (3):
  • 2012 (1-4, 8 members), 2022 (0-4, 11 members), 2023 (5-4, 11 members) 3 bids (2):
  • 2011 (4-3, 9 members), 2015 (1-3, 11 members) 2 bids (4):
  • 2014 (2-2, 11 members), 2018 (2-2, 11 members), 2019 (0-2, 11 members), 2021 (0-2, 11 members) 1 bid (2):

2016 (0-1, 11 members), 2017 (0-1, 11 members)

The mountain vest should be a multi-bid league again in 2025, but the question is how many? The top seed-news Mexico should be saved with space, even if the Lobos had not made the field as great value in 2024. The state in Utah should also be in good condition. However, the state of San Diego has declined closer to the cut line, while Boise State and Colorado State raised the Bubble Hacking Order. The best scenario could be a final of the state of Boise State Colorado on Saturday. In this case, the conference could only achieve five offers, although I would expect both the loser of this game and the SDSU in the first four. Boise State:
2024 (10 seeds, first four) Colorado State:
2024 (10 seeds, 1. round) Nevada:
2024 (10 seeds, 1. round) New Mexico:
2024 (11 seeds, 1st round) San Diego State:
2024 (5 seeds, sweet 16) State Utah:
2024 (8 seeds, 2nd round) Wyoming:
2022 (12 seeds, first four) Fresno state:
2016 (14 seed, 1. round) UNLV:
2013 (5 seed, round of 64) Air force:
2006 (13 seeds, 1st round) San José State:

1996 (16 Seed, 1st round, Big West member)

The drought of the Spartans extends over two realignation cycles of the conference! It can extend very well over a third, since the mountain vest will be subjected to some major changes after the next season.

Last conference tournament title New Mexico:
2024 (6 seeds) San Diego State:
2023 (1 seed) Boise State:
2022 (1 seed) State Utah:
2020 (2 seeds) Nevada:
2017 (4 seeds) Fresno state:
2016 (2 seeds) Wyoming:
2015 (4 seeds) UNLV:
2008 (2 seeds) Colorado State:
2003 (6 seeds) San José State:

1996 (6 seeds) air force

Has never won a conference tournament.
