2025 NFL Combine: Small college prospects to see

Every year it feels as if the debate about the NFL scouting combine generally falls between two camps: Who will appear in the combine harvester and whether the combine harvester is still worth it or not. Regardless of which side you land on which side you land, there is a group of prospects for which everything means this week: small players.

Prospects that come from the ranks FCS, Division II and Division III always fight against the hard fight and the stigma to get people to see them and their success in the same light as their FBS colleagues. During Nobel, it is difficult for scouts and evaluators to do this without a real comparison of 1: 1 in relation to the level of competition. For this reason, events such as All-Star games and The Combine are of crucial importance for both the prospects and the scouts, as it gives them the opportunity to see how they are physically and sporty for their colleagues from the main programs measure.

This year there are only seven prospects of smaller colleges, all of which come from the FCS. Here is a look at the prospects that will try to take a name for yourself and for small school prospects across the country in Indianapolis.

Charles Grant is probably the best offensive lineman in FCS. Grant on film has one of the sporty talented tackle prospects in the class. Where he has the chance to impress, is drills during the agility.

The luxury of being in Delaware in the program of a game is Marcus Garn's ability as a recipient that inspires the audience. But it will be its 40-yard fittings board and 10 yard splitting that attract the attention of the Pro scouts.

Isas Waxter is another view that I could be in the show for versus against Monmouth and had the chance to see him again in the east-west shrine bowl. Waxter emphasized the type of adhesive tape who want to see scouts, and here in Indy he is a chance for him to make a bow with an excellent performance in his post -season. Where he has to shine is in the agility drills and in 40-yard dash.

Carson Vinson was the star of the Senior Bowl of the Reese, in which some people buzzed how high he could possibly go into the design. I think what is interesting about his case is that he was able to answer many questions in the Senior Bowl how he would deal with the step in competition. This week it is more about the interviews and medicine and also how he does it in the pocket exercises on the field compared to his colleagues.

The best or second best week in the senior bowl was from Gray Zabel. He dominated from start to finish after having broken a long season with a long 16-game season. The fact that he competes here in all aspects of the combine is definitely a victory. Like Vinson, the medical and interviews will be where he has the chance to increase his stock, which could possibly be in the first round.

Jackson Slater had an outstanding week in the senior bowl and showed his skills as an interior. For him this week at the combine is an opportunity for him to show his sportiness. I believe that it is a very underestimated part of his game, and the agility tests and the 40-yard split numbers will give us these confirmations.

David Walker had a week in Mobile, both in practice and during the game. The goal here in Indy is for him to test like a man who is a bit understate than most defensive edge boys (6-foot 1, 267 pounds) and the flexibility of position also in relation to the drill Field pockets and zone drop drills will come.

The NFL design of 2025 is to take place from April 24th to 26th in Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. You can find further designs at CBSPorts.com, including the weekly mock designs and regularly available Take a look at the legitimate prospects.
