2025 Wbit: clip, schedule, TV channels for the basketball tournament for women

The 2025 WBIT will have a 32-team bracket, which will be announced on Sunday, March 16, at 9 p.m. on live on NCAA.com. It is the second year of the event in which Illinois won the first competition last year.

The first four teams of the NCAA -i -Frauen -Basketball tournament from 2025 -as defined by the DI -selection committee -receive an automatic offer and the first four seeds in the WBIT.

2025 Wbit time plan, television channels

• Selection: Sunday, March 16, 9:00 p.m. ET – Live on NCAA.com
• First round: Thursday, March 20 on ESPN+
• Second round: Sunday, March 23 on ESPN+
• Quarter -finals: Thursday, March 27 on ESPN+
• The semi -finals: 2:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. ET Monday, March 31st on Espnu in Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis
• Championship: 6 p.m. ET Wednesday, April 2 on Espnu in the Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis

How WBit teams are selected

The first four teams from the NCAA Di -Women basketball tournament -as determined by the DI -Frau -Basketball selection committee for women -receive an automatic offer for the WBIT and the first four seeds.

The regular champions of DI conferences, which were not otherwise selected for the NCAA Di -Frauen -Basketball tournament, qualify automatically (if not changing institutions). The remaining field consists of the teams selected by the WBIT Selection Committee.

The first, second and quarter -final games take place on Campus sites. Action then moves for the semi -finals and the championship in terms of Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
