3 times-American offensive lineman, which preached the Opera Gospel

Atlanta, Ga. (Atlanta News first) – it was said that the things that are for us will find their way to us.

Singing was the calling for Morris Robinson. Football was part of the trip. He was three times all-American offensive Lineman in college.

“Football allowed me to be myself. As a musician, I was always very talented, and that was a kind of nerdy thing that I went out on the football field was a kind of right to prove myself, and my teammates, the boys with whom I went in church, was indeed a hard guy, ”said Robinson.

After all, Robinson returned to a passion that was never disappeared.

“I feel most comfortable when I am only on stage on stage and communicate through music,” said Robinson.

He is a decorated performer. Outside of his Grammys, he performed worldwide and in the states in places such as the Met and Los Angeles Philharmonic.

“I want the audience to be moved. I want you to have a musical experience, an emotional experience, I want you to enjoy the drama and music together, ”said Robinson.

Morris is preparing for the production of “Macbeth” by the Atlanta Opera.

“I have the feeling that I am an ambassador for the art form. I don't come packed because you would think that an opera singer would be packed, but I think I have a message and my responsibility to continue to preach the gospel if you want as often as possible, ”said Robinson.
