3 Vietnamese citizens who were caught in Cavite for illegal medical practice

The criminal investigative and recognition group (CIDG) of the Filipino National Police (PNP) arrested three Vietnamese citizens in Cavite because they allegedly carried out cosmetic interventions without the proper medical license in the country.

In a statement on Sunday, the PNP identified the Vietnamese nationals as Dr. Julie Nguyen, Dr. Luna Pham and Dr. Ryan Truong, who allegedly presented themselves as doctors and carried out the injection of stem cells, hair guards, body sculpture, biostimulation collagen and diemark-related producers in Imus, Cavit, Cavit.

“However, you do not have the necessary medical approvals and permission to give medical products, to operate a medical facility or to practice medicine in the Philippines,” said the police.

The agency said that it confiscated boxes with various medicine, medical and cosmetic products and related devices as well as notebooks that document medical procedures, prescription medication and receipts to customers.

“The illegal practice of medicine is a serious threat to public health, and CIDG will continue to pursue people who deal with these illegal activities,” said the PNP.

“This operation is a warning to all local or foreign criminals that the CIDG is adamant and steadfast in catching them all to prevent and solve crimes. We encourage the public to report an illegal practice of medicine and other criminal activities in their locations, and CIDG will do the rest, ”added. – Jon Viktor Cabuenas/RF, GMA integrated messages
