4,000 pound trout that were released in the cachuma lake

(Santa Barbara, California) – The county of Santa Barbara welcomed another 4,000 pound of rainbow trout to Lake Cachuma. The publication was carried out this week in cooperation with the California Ministry of Fish and Wildlife and marks the third batch of trout that were added to the lake in this tight season. During the stocking season, a total of more than £ 16,000 trout is added.

The fish ranges from half the pound “Catchables” to eight pounds trophies and comes from Mt. Lieben Trout Farms, Inc. in Paynes Creek, California.

Cachuma Lake Recreation Area is a full-service campsite, which offers all year round hut, yurt, motorhome and tent camping, leisure activities, natural programs for all age groups and of course fishing!

In addition to rainbow trout, large and small mouthfish, crappy, carp, catfish, blue giacte and red -eared solar fish are ready for a bit. Cachuma Lake Marina and Boat Rentals have everything that a angler makes available in the bait and tackle business for rent or for purchase, which offers pontoons, outdoor bonds and kayak rents as well as one-day and annual fishing licenses.

Please note that, due to the 30-day Quagga restrictions, boats have to be inspected and marked by the Cachuma Lake staff at least 30 days before visiting. Kayaks, canoes and simple boats are justified for the start on the same day.
