5 more arrested for 2024 Eid al-Fitr Philadelphia Shooting

Krasner assured people that the Masjid is safe and that this year he will visit Eid al-Fitr with several of his MPs and others.

“It is certain and we will make sure it is safe,” said Krasner.

Krasner said one of the weapons used by the shooting was a privately produced weapon that is better known as ghost gun.

Ghost cannons are composed of parts that are bought on the Internet and can be easily assembled, but do not contain any serial number, which makes it traced back. The weapons can then be transferred to someone who cannot legally buy.

Imam Jamil Abdullah from the Philadelphia Masjid thanked the office that they pursued the incident and said they did not hold anything against the families of those who were involved in the original shootout.

“We have to recognize that it was not those who had participated in this oath festival. And we just want to remind everyone that we want them to come out. We are not intimidated. We have no trauma. At least the leadership, we have no trauma, we know that our faith is in almighty God. ”

Krasner would not exclude additional arrests in the incident.
