6 examined in chicken fights | News

Paris, Ky. (KT) -Kentucky State Police (KSP) in the Dry Ridge Post accused six people of the cruelty of the animal after charging the alleged chicken fights in Bourbon County in Bourbon County at the beginning of this month.







The KSP says they were called on Sunday to help a service on the Clay-Kiser Road near Paris. On arrival and with the help of the sheriff office of the Bourbon County, soldiers discovered evidence of alleged activities of the chicken fighting, and an investigation was initiated.

The first call of a disorder in the residence led to a deputy sheriff from Bourbon County, which reacted to the scene. In the course of his reaction, the deputy observed numerous dead roosters behind the residence and applied for support from KSP. The soldiers and detectives reacted to the scene and, after securing a search command, confirmed more than 70 dead roosters on site, together with others who were seriously injured. The investigation shows that death and injuries to the animal were a direct result of activities to fight chicken.

As a result of the examination, six people were charged with the cruelty of the animals- 2nd degree. You are: Abel Aguirer, 33, Marco Espinoza, 30, Fabian Lopez, 30, Cierra Cooper, 28, Gil Aguirer, 38, and Maeja Hepibetomeia, 43.

This is the latest in the series of the Raids of the KSP in the whole state, as they continue to actively go into chicken fights. Include some of your actions:

-Charging of 14 people in a raid in May 2024 in a house in the Bethelridge community of Casey County.

-Seven people were charged with several years of examination of the chicken fights in Blackberry and Whitesburg.

-A raid in January at a chicken event event in Dunnville in Casey County led to 54 people who were charged with cruelty to animals.

-E person who is charged in Nelson County in February.

The cruelty of animals in the second degree is punished in prison for up to one year and a maximum fine of 500 US dollars if they are condemned.
