A date with DAD event in the Cleveland Public Library Woodland Branch

The event is open on Saturday, March 22nd, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. to the age of 10 of fathers and children, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Cleveland – “If we look around in every population group in society today, one of the largest and most disturbing aspects of current society is the fact that there is so much father.”

This is a message from Peter Lawson Jones, the creator of the Cuyahoga County paternity initiative.

He came to 3news' Danita Harris Live on the “Go!” Morning show Tuesday to discuss an event that is known this weekend as “A Date With Dad” in the Cleveland Public Library Woodland Branch.

The event is open on Saturday, March 22nd to the age of 10 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. to the age of 10 from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.

“If you combine the fact that we know that we are engaged and we know that early literacy is a key to fulfilling his human potential of a child, this kind of event is like a duh moment,” said Jones. “Of course you have to do it.”

He said that the presence of a father is academically helping children with great intellectual growth.

“If children were grown up by a parent alone without the inclusion of a second, we would be like the earthworm, which would be able to fortify themselves without the benefits of a second unit.”

Harris and their organization Shine Men of Integrity are among the sponsors of the event.

Free donuts are also recorded at the event.

“You don't want to miss it, fathers,” said Harris. “Come to the library!”
