I can't believe that I made it almost without an issue of the New Tools Day. This is particularly shameful because the new tools have not stopped and I have played with some funny new things since the last show and have told in 2024. Time to fix this.

In this edition of Threaded I share my thoughts on a few new little hand tools from feedback sports, test an interesting and little-known tire installation and distance tool from Great Britain, I look at the new and affordable Two-Bolt block installation instrument and break up some surviving slips with Ceramics-Speed's new out of.

You will also discover some new tools from outside the cycling world, for which I have spent my money recently. And there are a few toaser of tools that I have just used to use and tested.

Lean back with your favorite chain breaker, ratchet or another fidget spinner and enjoy it.

Feedback Sports has steadily expanded and updated its series of inexpensive tools. Although you are hardly any revolutionary, you have now added L-shaped hex and torx key sets to the area ($ 30 each).
These steel keys created in Taiwan S2 steel key seem to offer good facilities in fastening elements (properly tolerated) and have a solid feeling in the hand. I haven't used them long enough to know how the edited ends keep, but early signs indicate that this will be good added value.
The owners work well and the slope day offers a memory option at home. The tools are easy to get out, while small rubber inserts help to hold them in your hand if you want you to stay in the owner.
The size is generally quite good in the sex wrench key, with the aim of being only slightly shy (4.985 mm, measured for a 5 -mm skating size).
Since I have often found as the case, the acquisition of the Torx simply does not stop a candle My preferred European options (does little). There is a noticeable wobbling in the interface on common sizes such as the T25.
The hex set seems to be a good value -added selection, while the Torx set does not offer the equipment that I am looking for personally. Another thing that must be observed on the medium -sized length of them – they are a bit short for me because I am because I am used to the use of keys longer length
Feedback Sports has new tire levers made of bio -based nylon (which can also be recycled). A few of these levers sell for 6 US dollars.
I compared it directly to my benchmark – the Pedro tire lever. In comparison, the bioles do not slide so easily, but the narrower and square hook end can be inserted easier into ultra -tire gaps. They also feel strong, although only the time on this will say.
Then we receive the third new portable torque key from Feedback Sport, the reflex festival torque -bit driver (35 US dollar).
This new tool (left) came out in the week after I had just completed a big one Comparative check of portable torque tools. It represents the most affordable and compact option of feedback sports, but also the most restrictive where and what it fits.
In the small handle, four 1/4 “green bits and a preset torque of 5 nm are saved. In contrast, feedback sports reflex provides fixed torque rapchet kit (70 US dollars) a more versatile bit rack, regular expansion and 10 bit.
The reflex -bit driver (left) compared to the Reflex -Ratzkit (right). The driver for the Fix -Reflex Festival moment weighs 89 grams, while the entire Reflex -Festivt moment -Ratschenkit is located at 205 g.
Feedback sports are not the first of this design, with proby equipment is similar. While the design of feedback is better, I still find it too easy to accidentally drop the content. As a reminder, do not try to undo the screws with the torque function. This limits where this type of tool fits, and for this reason you will not wear it.
Feedback Sports now also offers its reflex festival moment extensions as independent products. Available in variants of 4, 5 and 6 Nm sell them for 25 US dollars per piece (not as a set, as shown). You will work with every work 1/4 “Bits and Bit-based tools This makes it a great addition to many existing tools. Accuracy tests of this design were carried out in the previous one Pocket size bike torque wrench shootingThe short answer is that I trust them.
A Makita high-pressure dust blower (#das180z) recently bought by me. Very inspired by Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale's Mechanic Luis LamasI received this as an alternative and portable option for using an air compressor -based blowgun for drying washed parts. With the closest nozzle, it grabs a blow with 194 g of force (measured by literally blowing a kitchen scale from a distance of 5 cm). For comparison: my air compressor with 85 PSI line pressure generated 188 g strength.
I didn't want to invest in another battery platform and went looking for an 18 -v battery adapter. This fits a Milwaukee battery in a Makita tool. It adds some mass, but otherwise works well for the task.
There is a whole new world of electrical pressure bubbles, and although this is not my first, I still don't feel ready to write about the topic in detail. Maybe one to come, but I also think how Torque test channel And Project farm On YouTube (say goodbye from the weekend!) You have already done a good job to cover cheaper alternatives in this category.
