A large pixel Watch 3 feature has just got a regulatory OK

The Google Pixel Watch 3 launched last year, but there was no significant function in the clock in the USA: loss of papers. The function required for the approval of the Food and Drug Administration to be available in the USA, but Google says that OK has finally come.

As mentioned in Google's blog (February 26) today, the function is available in 14 countries and we will have an impact in the USA at the end of March. “Although the company does not offer a precise date, it is good to know that the potentially life -saving function will occur within the next month or something.

“This first function can recognize when you have experienced a pulse loss (you stop beating an event such as primary cardiac arrest, respiratory tract or circulatory failure, overdose or poisoning) and automatically asked to call for potential care for a potential life-saving care,” said Google in his blog post in the feature.

Even if you are not in an endangered category for something like that, it is still nice to know that your smartwatch is watching your back if you experience a potentially catastrophic episode.

Pay attention

The small print is important to note: “The loss of pulse detection cannot determine every instance of a pulse loss and, according to Google, is not for users with existing heart disease or those who need heart monitoring”. This means that the function may save your life, but also not a substitute for medical devices that monitor your heart.

This is one of many functions with which users of Pixel Watch 3 (and some of the other best smartwatches are protected on the market). Some examples that are available from Google's wearable are the detection of car accidents, autumn detection, irregular cardiac arrhythm notifications and others.
