A match in the sky – tipecanoe gazette

Sampling of dishes and guests in and around Miami County

There seems to be no better combination for a cool and rainy day than Miso soup. Especially if it was 60 degrees just a few days earlier. I longed for spring since our furry friend in Punxsutawney told us. I will say that nothing comes with hot soup and relaxing atmosphere during the annual run of Ohio Pre-Fring Weather. The latest place where I found that the Miso itch is scratching is the Akashi sushi bar.

If you travel north during your lunch break, I still recommend a stopover in the Megumi Sushi Bar. However, if you approach the dayton area, Akashi is a must. From the outside, the sushi bar between a Taco bell and a petrol station seemed to appear a little out of the blue. However, they miss if they don't give him a chance. At the entrance you have the feeling that you have just entered a restaurant scene from a film. The tables and the decor go together with the Sushi Bar topic, and the chill atmosphere is perfect for a gossip meeting with your favorite colleague or best friend.

However, I dared to go to Akashi alone. I fight social fear after another. I ordered a hot tea that came in the sweetest ceramic cup and decided to use the lunch break. I ordered a Bento box. The Sushi Bento Box was with a front page of the Miso soup that had soul-disruptive skills. I also enjoyed tempura what my new favorite species of fried food is. These crispy potatoes were unsuspectingly sweet and tasted incredible both and with soy sauce. The Mini spring rolls had a perfectly crispy outer and flavored pork. The noodles were cold (by design) and absolutely delicious, without being filled. To round off the whole thing, the sushi was layered between fish and rice with a Zing of Wasabi. Everyone was incredible and I wish there was lunch like the Bento Box outside of Asian food.

The nice thing about the Bento Box is that it fills and at the same time gives a variety of food to ensure. I think this is the best way to enjoy lunch without too many French fries or a greasy burger. Both that I obviously still enjoy. If you are not sure what you long for a rainy, windy and constantly cold day, but you know that you want something hot, skip the glorified hospital meal and loud seating that you may find in a chain like Panera. Instead, try a delicious bowl of Miso soup and a Bento box in the Akashi Sushi Bar. You will not be disappointed.
