ABC7 immerses in our video vaults to highlight the early work of the Oscar candidate in the past on the red carpet

Hollywood, Los Angeles – When I dealt with another Oscar season, I realized that the story had ABC7 with so many actors.

It was not only fun, but also a privilege to speak to Russell Crowe and Sandra Bullock over the years. It was an honor to share our room with Roger Ebert and regular guests of the red carpet such as Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, Samuel L. Jackson and Latanya Richardson – two of my favorite pairs ever!

And I always laugh when I think about Diamond and emerald ears at Queen Latifahs and ends up between us in the hedge!

Let us go into the past with five of this year's Oscar -nominated people.

“It was something I just had to do was to know what it would look like,” said Demi Moore in 1997. She refers to bringing herself in a maximum physical condition to play the title role in “GI Jane”.

And in 2002, before he won the Oscar for “The Pianist”, Adrien Brody told me that he knew that the film made a chord for his career.

“No matter how well the film works or not, I think it has changed me deeply and it really gave me so much more than any other experience I have,” said Brody.

In 2002 Kieran Culkin was still in his career in the earlier days. We sat down to talk about roles, including his leading role in the film “Igby goes down”.

“I also feel like it if I can't audition. If I am only given, how the hell do you know that I am right? You know you haven't seen me yet. How can you just choose me?” Said Culkin. “I didn't really expect anything. I expected everything. Nothing. I don't know.”

In 2004 we saw the teen actor Brady Corbet at the premiere of the family film “Thunderbirds”. He was one of the stars.

“I have never seen a film that looks like this that has such a very retro feeling that it really has a future of the 1960s quality, and I like the design and appearance of this film. I think that's the biggest attribute,” said Corbet.

This took a long time for Corbet to be nominated for three Oscars for “The Brutalist” – Director, Production and original screenplay.

“I have always imagined that I have no nice little films that nobody really heard and made me happy.”

And then there is Sebastian Stan, who made a Marvel brand with “Captain America: The First Avenger” from 2011. He just didn't know exactly.

“I am only very excited that I have to be part of this film, and I understand that it is the size and I hope that it leads me to a way to have decisions,” said Stan.
