Adoption lawyers in Florida must comply with the new reporting law by April 15th

In the case of a new law that affects the adoption companies in Florida, you must present the case information to the Ministry of Children and Families (DCF). While the adoption agencies regularly communicate with DCF, not all adoption lawyers of this new requirement are aware of this.

FS ยง63.097 (7) has been changed in order to oblige all adoption agencies and companies (including the lawyers defined in Chapter 63) to send information about the adoptions you have completed. All adoption companies have to submit the first quarterly report by April 15th.

Mary K. Wimsett, a board attorney in Gainesville and President of the Florida Adoption Council (FAC), notes that FAC will have his legal members and his reporting deadline, although some lawyers who are not members of the FAC campaign, and with the deadline from April 15, the conclusion of April 15, which could not lead to punishment or other enforcement measures.

Lawyers looking for additional information about the new law and reporting are asked to visit the DCF website.
