After the brothers had returned to the USA, Desantis says that they are not welcome. Here is what is to know

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – Andrew and Tristan Tate, which are charged in Romania for human trafficking, have returned to the United States after the authorities have lifted travel restrictions on the siblings who have millions of online supporters.

After the couple had arrived in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Thursday, the governor of Florida, Ron Desantis, made it clear that the Influencer brothers are not welcome in his state and that his administration carried out a preliminary investigation into the couple – triggers the pushback from supporters of the crime.

Here is something to know.

Who are the crime?

Andrew Tate, 38, is a former professional kickboxer and self -described women's enemy who has accumulated more than 10 million followers on X. He and his brother Tristan Tate, 36, are loud supporters of US President Donald Trump.

Andrew Tate is an extremely successful social media figure that attracts millions of followers, many of whom young men and schoolchildren, which was attracted to the luxurious lifestyle, which the influencer projects online.

Previously, he was forbidden by Tiktok, YouTube and Facebook for hate speeches and his misogynist comments, including responsibility for sexual attacks.

The deeds, which are double US citizens, were arrested at the end of 2022 and officially charged with charges for charges last year to take a criminal ring who attracted women to Romania, where they were sexually exploited. Andrew Tate was also charged for rape. They deny the allegations.

The departure of the crime came after the Romanian Foreign Minister Emil Hurezeanu said this month that an official from the Trump administration at the latest Munich security conference was expressed in the case of the brothers.

A few weeks ago, Andrew Tate posted on X: “The crime will be free, Trump is the president. The good old days are back. And they get better than ever. Stop.”

Where are you now?

The crime arrived in the USA on Thursday and ended up in Fort Lauderdale around noon.

When Andrew Tate spoke to reporters at the airport, he repeated his persistence that the siblings had not done anything wrong.

“We live in a democratic society in which it is innocent until they have proven to be guilty. And I think my brother and I are largely misunderstood. There are many opinions about us, things that go around the Internet,” he said.

The brothers are expected to return to Romania, where they are still suspended. A lawyer of the siblings there did not immediately answer a request for comments on Friday about when they were due again in the country.

What was the answer to your return?

The return of the brothers to the United States – after a Trump official expressed interest in her case – triggered disagreement among conservative commentators and civil servants.

The Republican governor of Florida, Ron Desantis, clearly said with reporters that he did not want the brothers to stay in his state.

“Florida is not a place where you are welcome with this type of behavior,” said Desantis.

The Attorney General of Florida checks whether the state may be responsible for the alleged crimes of the brothers and if so, how to “take them to account”. In court documents, the crime said they were not and have never been to Florida.

Other Republicans in the Sunshine state, which have become a stronghold of the Maga movement of Trump, run out the welcome mat.

In a post on X, the Tampa Bay Young Republicans Club Andrew Tate officially invited to speak to its group.

“As a freedom of speech, the act was not officially convicted of crimes and are welcome to speak to our group,” says the post office. “We are old enough to remember when a (star)” convicted criminal “(asterisks) won the presidency.”

What's next on the right front?

The deeds are still pursued in Romania and, in this case, have to return to procedures at least from time to time, which is expected that it takes years for the solution to take years.

As soon as the Legal Saga ends in Romania, the United Kingdom has an application for extradition – which was admitted last year by a Romanian court – for separate charges that are exposed to the crime there in connection with allegations of sexual aggression.

In the meantime, the brothers who submitted the brothers to court in 2023 continues. The couple submitted the case against a woman who accused her of imprisoned her in Romania. A judge has contested an application by the woman identified as Jane Doe to pause the case until the Romanian affair has been completed.

After they are back in the USA, the crime submitted an application that requested a temporary injunction against the woman, but no decision was issued by Friday afternoon. The siblings want the woman to be excluded from coming from 500 feet (152 meters), and that they are not “contacting, threatened, stalking, damaging or harassing” either.
