After the operation, Joey Janela offers an update to game against Sabu

Joey Janela says his match with Sabu could possibly be postponed.

At the People vs. GCW, Janela announced that he would take the ECW legend in Sabu during the spring break of Joey Janela in the legend. However, Janela was recently operated on because of a bicep risse, with the status of the game being left behind in doubt.

In a tweet, Janela replied to a fan who suggested that Rob van Dam could replace him in the game. He wrote that if he didn't rank on the show, Sabu would not. Janela said that even if he had to create a new Joey Janela show for the summer, the match belonged to him and he didn't deserve to take it.

Janela also replied to ask him about the chances that he would wrestle on the show, and he wrote: “The chances maybe 2%.”

Wrestlezone provides more information as soon as it is available.

Joey Janela on Sabu

Janela recently discussed his match against Sabu during an appearance Fightful Over Booked's in Wehrraut.

“Sabu, I don't know where his spirit is right now. I know he wants to do the match. He has not wrestled for a few years. I know that he is a big fan of me and GCW. We didn't always start on the same side. We had a match in 2016, you made a documentary on YouTube, 'Please don't die', that was the focus of the documentary, Sabu was like death in this situation and could do it in the not done.

“The match just didn't go as we planned. It was like 'fuck. Never hit your idols, never wrestle your idols. 'At that time I said: “Fuck this guy.” We have become tight later. We hang in Las Vegas, we have mutual friends and it is damn Sabu. If someone got their last game, it would be. I said, “I'll get you through, Sabu.” He says: “No, I'll get you through.” I want to do that here. He said he wants it to be his biggest match ever. It could be. “(H/T Struggling for transcription.)
