Bopal: Two young people were arrested on Tuesday because the Koh-E-Fiza police had carried out on a moving bike on the VIP Road by the Koh-E-Fiza police after a video of the bike stunt on social media platforms had become viral.
The vehicle used in the stunt was also confiscated and the police wrote to the traffic department to cancel the accused. The police also sent a letter to the traffic department in relation to the matter.
Koh-E-Fiza Sho Vijendra Marskole said that on February 28, a video appeared on social media platforms, in which a young woman who stands on a frenzied motorcycle on VIP street between two men while dancing and flying kisses to the passers-by. As some people tried to record the plot, the defendant notified himself. The video quickly attracted the attention of the police and prompted DCP (Zone-03) Riyaz IQBal to order strict measures against the offenders.
Sho Marskole said that on March 1, a complaint in the matter in the Koh-E-Fiza police station was registered for a complaint submitted by Manish Lalwani. According to the complaint, the bike was driven at high speed and ruthless way. In addition, the two passengers on the bike made obscene gestures and endangered other people. On the basis of the complaint, the police registered a case as part of the Motor Vehicles Act and initiated an investigation that led to the arrest of the defendant.
The police said that a joint team from the Koh-E-Fiza police and the traffic police carried out an operation according to the instructions and arrested the 24-year-old bicycle rider of Yadavanshi and his accomplice Sumit Kumar (25), both inhabitants of Aishbagh. Both were sent to prison while the police are actively looking for the young woman who took part in the stunt. The police confirmed that their identity would be checked and that legal steps will soon be taken against them.
The police emphasized a strict advice that everyone who carries out dangerous stunts on public roads will be exposed to strict legal consequences. Senior Cops emphasized that such stunts, especially in busy areas such as the VIP Road, not only endanger the stunt actors, but also represent a serious threat to other commuters.
