Akon's video 'at the moment (na na na)' 1 billion YouTube views appears

It was 17 years since Akon let his traps Freedom Single “Auform na (na na na)” and this week the music video of the song exceeded a billion views on YouTube.

The achievement marks the fourth clip of the Senegalese American artist to reach this milestone as a lead, the artist or employee, according to “Play Hard”, “Smack That” and “Lonely”.

In the music video “At the moment (na na na)”, Akon is a secret agent that remembers a lost relationship and hopes to resume fire. “I want to make up good now, well, well/ wish, we have never separated at the moment, well, well/ we have to connect now, well, well,” he sings in the optimistic choir.

The hit made waves on several billboard charts during its release and reached 3rd place on the US Rhythmic Tally, No. 8 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 Songs Chart, No. 9 on Pop AirPlay and No. 73 in Hot R&B/Hip-Hop-Song chart.

“At the moment (na na na)” appeared on Akon's third studio album, Freedomthat fell in December 2008. The project made 7th place in the Billboard 200-alben charts and reached 3rd place in the top survey on Top-R & B/Hip-Hop albums.
