Alligator breaks into the Haus in Florida.

An alligator surprised a couple in Florida by sneaking into his house near Fort Myers.

Fort Myers, Fla. – A couple in Florida will never forget the unexpected surprise they received when an alligator shot his way into her house.

Paul Quinn, a resident near Fort Myers, said WBBH that he was alone at home when he saw the alligator in her kitchen area.

“I am like: 'Is that really an alligator in my living room or in the kitchen area here?'” He said. “And then he looked at me and he started running and I would like to: 'Oh, crap, I have to deal with it today?”

Quinn said he called 911 and someone from Florida Fish and Wildlife had arrived about an hour later to remove the alligator.

Quinn and his wife said they usually leave a door open to get a child's play in the house. The gator broke through the screen and house.

“That made me nervous,” said Paull Quinn's wife Mary Jo. “I don't want to be afraid of an alligator who only goes back to our foyer in our foyer. I can't live that way. I live in Florida. I love to live here. I'm not going.”
