AMES PD do two additional arrests for murder examinations – the daily state iowa state

The AMES police made two additional arrests after a man was fatally shot on the evening of January 18 at South 5th Street.

The victim, identified on January 21, was Parker L. Stoneburner at the age of 25. Officials arrived around 6:30 p.m. after reports on an emergency at the scene and found Stoneburner, who suffered from a gunshot wound. He was brought to the Mary Greeley Medical Center, where he later died of his injuries.

“We believe that fate has teamed up with Abraham and Zoe this evening, and during this robbery he was attacked and then shot,” said Major Jason Tuttle in an interview with The Daily. “We believe that there could be other people, it is still an active examination, we will continue to track leads as soon as we get them.”
