Amy Coney Barrett reaction to Donald Trump, who is over, becomes viral

Several social media users comment on the response of the Supreme Court of Amy Coney Barrett to President Donald Trump in his joint speech to the congress on Tuesday.

Why is it important

Barrett took part in the joint speech with Chief Justice John Roberts and the Justice Elena Kagan and Brett Kavanaugh. It was Trump's first congress address since his second term of office of the President.

One day after the speech, Barrett and the majority of the court arose in a decision in which the Trump government has to comply with an investigation order in order to remove a foreign aid of $ 2 billion. The decision criticized Trump supporters on social media.

What to know?

Several contributions to X concentrate on Barrett's facial expressions when Trump passed the judges.

A user shared a video of the reaction and wrote: “Maybe Amy Coney Barrett has a soul.” The post was viewed over 500,000 times.

Another X user said: “Trump may have appointed Amy Coney Barrett, but she looks as if she couldn't despise him in this clip.” Post has over 20,000 views.

Barrett was part of a 5-4 majority to spark the decision of a lower court to support foreign support from the US Agency for International Development (USA) and the Foreign Ministry.

Trump frozen the help through an executive regulation on January 20. The lawsuit was stopped after non -profit organizations that had filed a lawsuit and the US district judge Amir Ali issued a temporary injunction.

Barrett was appointed Supreme Court in 2020 in the first term of his presidency from Trump.

Barrett was nominated shortly after the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

The majority of the Supreme Court instructed Ali to “clarify which obligations the government must meet in order to ensure compliance with the temporary interim order”.

The temporary injunction will be made until March 10th.
