Andrew and Tristan Tate: Florida, who conducts active criminal investigations against the brothers, says Attorney General

According to the Attorney General on Tuesday, a criminal investigation by the online influencer and self-proclaimed misogynist Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan opened in Florida.

The Attorney General of Florida, James Uthmeier, has instructed the office of the nationwide public prosecutor to “carry out searches of search and issue prayers”, in which he calls a “criminal investigation” in the brothers, he said on social media.

Andrew Tate went to X to say that he was “disappointed” by the development after he and his brother were allowed to leave Romania last week after their arrest in 2022.

The two brothers arrived in Fort Lauderdale, Florida last week, after leaving Romania, where the two were arrested in December 2022, CNN previously reported.

The brothers, who are in the USA and the British citizens, had previously been forbidden to leave Romania after being charged because of crimes, including human trafficking and founding of an organized criminal gang – accusations that contest them.

The couple is also examined by the British authorities, where they also contested misconduct. After the public prosecutor had examined and persecuted allegations of rape against Andrew Tate, the police from Bedfordshire said that they had received a European arrest warrant against the brothers, “as part of an ongoing investigation into rapes and human trafficking” and is looking for their delivery.

The decision to increase travel limits was largely criticized by politicians in Romania.

Governor Ron Desantis had previously proposed in Florida that the Tate of Brothers was not welcome in his state.

At a press conference, Desantis said: “Florida is not a place where you are welcome with this type of behavior.”
