Anna Paulina Luna refers to the Mayor of the Sanctuary City for prosecution

A Republican Congressman said that she referred the mayors of the democratic sanctuary, who testify to the Ministry of Justice for Criminal Law on Wednesday before the Congress.

The mayor of Denver, Mike Johnston, the mayor of New York City, Eric Adams, the Mayor of Chicago, Brandon Johnson and the Mayor of Boston, Michelle Wu, all defended the sanctuary of her respective city at the fiery hearing. They defended their communities as inviting and asked the congress to adopt the immigration reform.

Republican congress members hammered the mayors because of their protection policy of the sanctuary, accused them of having endangered the Americans and pursuing the local officials.

Luna informed the mayors that their politics injured both citizens and migrants.

“I don't think you are bad people, but I think you are ideologically misleading,” said Luna.

“For this reason, I will unfortunately refer you to the reactions to the Ministry of Justice for the investigation,” she said, stopping copies of the transfers.

Luna, a member of the House Freedom Caucus, also heads the Task Force of the House Oversight Committee on the declassification of federal secrecy, a new task force that focuses on the declaration of federal secrecy – including records in connection with the attacks by President John F.
