Anthony Davis' emotional reaction to tribute in the Mavericks-Lakers game

Anthony Davis scored an average of 24.8 points per game, 11 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game for the Lakers.

Anthony Davis entered Crypto.com Arena for the first time in almost a month, but this time not as a laker. The Los Angeles Lakers organized the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday, February 25th, in a highly awaited collision. It was her first meeting since both teams organized a blockbuster deal in which Dallas Davis took over while the Lakers Luka Doncic booked.

While Luka Doncic stepped onto the pitch for his fifth Laker game, things were not the same for Davis. The 10-time all-star, which has been on the side lines since February 8, should miss another exciting game this evening. When he returned to the Crypto Arena as a Mavs player, the Lakers ensured that Davis gave a homage.

Not only that, but after the tribute, the crowd of Davis greeted with standing ovation and did everything more for him.

In particular, Davis suffered an adductor injury during his debut -Mavericks game, he played against the Rockets on February 8. While he announced his arrival in the new side with a solid performance of 26 points, he has not been forced to contact him in the last few minutes of the game since then.

Anthony Davis' term in purple and gold

Davis moved to the Lakers in 2019 after a trade of the pelicans and soon began to measure himself on the new side. Together with LeBron James, he led the Lakers to the NBA final 2020, where their team won a 4-2 win against the heat and won their 17th championship.

After a few injury-plagued seasons with the side from 2020 to 2022, Davis returned to the plot in 2023 to lead the Lakers to the Western Conference final. In August he signed an extension of three years with the Lakers in August and won the first NBA Cup with the site in August.

Davis is one of the eight players in the league who won the NBA championship, a NCAA championship and an Olympic gold medal.
