What we know so far

According to the well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the original foldable iPhone from Apple will enter mass production at the end of 2026 and can arrive on the market by the end of 2027. The phone is said to have a 7.8-inch inside folding sheet and a 5.5-inch outdoor cover screen that offers users a smooth or developed user.

The most exciting delicacies is the fold -free screen, which has so far been created most of today's foldable smartphones. If Apple manages to remove the screen comb, which is present in the telephones of the competitors, this can set a new benchmark for the industry.

Premium design & build

Apple seems to emphasize ultra premium material for its first foldable. The frame is to be created from titanium alloy, which would provide a combination of strength and a light durability. When developing, the phone may only be 4.5 mm thick, and the folded thickness can be between 9 mm and 9.5 mm, which means that it is one of the most powerful folding blocks.

Compromises and compromises

Even with the premium materials and the future-looking design, there are probably some compromises. Rumors show that the foldable iPhone on the back only has a dual camera system, probably due to space restrictions. While Oppo and Honor were able to adapt triple camera systems to their leader, Apple is careful in its first version.

Another significant exclusion could be a face -ID that is replaced by a touchid fingerprint sensor embedded in the network switch. The move probably results from internal room restrictions and the desire to simplify the form factor of the device.

Positioned as an AI-controlled power package

Kuo predicts that Apple's foldable iPhone is sold as a “real AI-controlled phone” with a focus on multitasking and AI-capable functions. With the additional screen area, Apple could present new AI-focused functions that aim to increase productivity, creativity and user experience.

Expected price and publication

The costs will be high, with the estimated price between 2,000 and 2,500 US dollars. Despite the exorbitant price, Apple fans will see the foldable iPhone as a necessity if it fulfills the high -quality expectations.

Apple plans to complete the specifications by mid -2025, with mass production begins in the fourth quarter of 2026. Assuming that everything runs smoothly, the initial foldable iPhone can be released at the end of 2027. In addition, a second generation model, which may arrive in 2028, is already being developed.

Apple enthusiasts have to be patient for the time being, but the potential of a revolutionary foldable iPhone may be sufficient to justify waiting.
