Approach to record heat – Kesq

The highs rose to the 90s yesterday, and we will probably see similar conditions during the week.

A large part of the country will see above average heights this week because this high pressure comb is built into the western states.

The highs will reach their climax tomorrow and then we will see gradual cooling at normal daily highs.

During the week, the temperatures gradually return to the 1970s by the weekend. Between now, it is important to stay hydrated and be careful about spending time outside during the heat of the day. Although it is not close to our extreme summer temperatures, it is easy to be dehydrated with these warm, dry conditions.
