Are you planning to fly over the spring holidays? Redmond Airport offers memories, tips for a smooth journey

Redmond, Ore. (KTVZ) – Since the spring travel travelers are preparing for their vacation vacation, the Redmond Municipal Airport has some memories and practical tips to plan air travelers for a smooth journey.

The airport says that an increased passenger volume can lead to limited availability of parking spaces and an increased waiting time in security screening lines.

The travelers are asked to check the airport's website at www.flyrdm.com for the availability of parking spaces on the Message Scroll on the top of the page before they arrive at the airport. The passengers are recommended to arrive two hours before the flight departure, to check the luggage and clear security, especially for flights that leave between 5:00 and 7:00 a.m.

Important memory of passengers traveling with luggage, Air Carrier Check -in -counter at RDM 45-50 minutes before the flight departure. Please give your yourself additional time to check the luggage and carry out the safety provision.

The transportation security administration requires all travelers from RDM to place all electronics larger than a cell phone individually in containers separated from other elements for X-ray screening. The articles must correspond to the 3-1-1 fluid rule of TSA. Fixed foods are acceptable. Containers with jams, jellies and nut areas are not permitted in hand luggage. While the state law allows marijuana property, the air service is regulated by the federal law that prohibits Marijuana.

In order to inform the RDM passengers before their way, the airport website is updated every 30 minutes with the current parking availability. If limited rooms are displayed as available, you should use alternative travel agency options during busy travel times.

The airport terminal is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The amenities of the Boarding Lounge include a children's play area, a nursing room, a free book exchange, a coffee/gift shop, a family-friendly restaurant and a full service bar (which is open every day at 10:00 a.m.
