Arizona Mann, who is accused of having fatally shot his 1-year-old daughter in front of girl's mother

A Grand jury from Arizona charged a man at the fatal shootout of his 1-year-old daughter, and say prosecutors that he had carried out the crime with an AR rifle in front of the girl's mother.

Adam Joseph Montoya, 27, increases the charges raised at the beginning of this month with two crimes – murder and child abuse second degree. Montoya has not guilty.

Navajo County's public defense lawyer, who represents Montoya, rejected a comment on Monday.

The shootout took place on February 3 in a house in Show Low, a small mountainous community about 180 miles northeast of Phoenix, the public prosecutor of the Navajo district announced in a statement.

Rescue workers brought the 13 -month -old baby to a medical center in Show Low, where it was declared dead, said prosecutor. Both the public prosecutor's office of Navajo County and Low Police refused to comment on the case.

Montoya is recorded with a bond of 1 million US dollars.

A hearing before the procedure is planned for March 6th in front of the Supreme Court of Navajo County, the Sheriff's office said.

According to the city's website, Show Low is the largest city in the Weißen mountains with around 12,000 inhabitants.
