Arrest after suspect with call 911 after the shooting of independence

Independence, Mo. (KCTV) – an independence shooting in which a man led to an indictment in the operation that was submitted against another who called in 911 because of his own gunshot wound.

Jackson County, Missouri, on Thursday, March 13, submitted records of the Circuit Court, state that Joshua W. Perry, 32, was charged with independence in connection with a shootout who left a man in the operation.

An explanation of the probability submitted by the police authority of independence showed that the law enforcement officers were called to a house at around 10.45 p.m. on Wednesday with reports on a shootout. When they arrived, they said they found the victim in the living room with several gunshot wounds.

First aiders said that the man was taken to a nearby hospital with a gunshot wound on the chest and one to his forearm. He was immediately brought to the operation.

Witnesses told the investigators that Perry had appeared in the residence and asked to speak to a person inside. When they refused, he made his way inside before he was told that he could be shot if he got further.

Instead, witnesses said Perry had attacked the firearm and gained control of it, but not before he was shot himself. As soon as he had control of the weapon, he once shot the victim.

When the victim worked away, witnesses told the first aiders that Perry had followed him, stood above him and shot him again. Then he went and called in 911 to report that he had been shot.

Criminal prosecution officers said Perry was found in his apartment, where he was taken into custody and taken to the hospital for treatment. After his publication, he was instructed to Jackson County's prison.

The investigators found that Perry admitted that he was at home, but said that the firearm had “spontaneously” left. As a result, he was charged with burglary, assault and armed criminal action. If he is convicted, he could have up to 60 years in prison.

From Saturday, March 15, Perry will remain behind bars with a bond of 200,000 US dollars. A court appearance is not yet planned. No further information was published.
