Arrests in East Texas Motel according to substance examinations

Rusk County, Texas – an investigation by the Sheriff office of the Rusk County led to five arrests after several drugs had been found last Friday.

The examination took place in the Woodlawn Hills Motel on the US Highway 79.

According to a Facebook post from the Sheriff's office, the investigation to confiscate the alleged cocaine, suspected methamphetamine, suspected concentrated THC and a firearm.

The arrested 23-year-old Cameron Horn, 44-year-old Tamara Simon, 20-year-old Jayme Hogan, 22-year-old Aaron Yelverton and 31-year-old Harold Holman.

According to the post, Horn was found with 39 packages of suspicious cocaine and a firearm. Simon was found with alleged methamphetamine. Hogan and Yelverton were found with alleged concentrated THC. Holman was arrested in Rusk County because of an outstanding arrest warrant for Marijuana.

Horn was charged with the production/delivery of a controlled substance and received bonds of a total of 65,500 US dollars.

Simon, Hogan and Yelverton were all charged with the possession of a controlled substance and received bonds of $ 10,000.

Holman received a bond of $ 1,000 for the outstanding arrest warrant against marijuana possession.

The Rusk County's office said on Facebook that the investigation was not completed and additional arrests were expected.
