The ceremonial start of the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog race begins on Saturday, March 1st, at 10 a.m. The official restart is scheduled to take place on Monday, March 3, at 11 a.m.

The youngest winners completed the race in almost nine days. However, Musher may need almost two weeks towards the back of the pack to reach the finish line.
