Ashley Grahams 7 Favorite tips to sleep well

Saying Ashley Graham has a lot on her plate like an understatement. She balances her model career and gives her Broadway debut hard in the musical as Roxie Chicago In April he acted as a brand ambassador for Olly and increased her three young sons. Unnecessary to mention that your life is a bit hectic.

But one thing that she is never too busy for? Make sleep a priority. “You have to put self -care in your life. That indicates the sound for everything,” says Graham Well+good.

In honor of the National Sleep Awareness Week, Graham consisted of emphasizing the importance of sleep hygiene for their general health, talking about their bedtime and sharing their favorite tips and tricks in order to maintain a few ZZZS.

At first she had to learn why sleep was so important

For many of us it will be to sleep late and wake up early, often to the norm. We all have a lot of responsibilities – whether this keeps up with classes at school, works for a long time or take care of aging parents or newborns. In the hustle and bustle of everything, your health can fall lower on the priority list. Sounds familiar?

This also applied to Graham, and it took a big life event to see how sleep for her well -being was so important. “I didn't really notice the power of sleep until I had children,” says Graham. “You always have this mom sensor, and it never disappears. But if you have a baby, you will learn that you have to have the energy to appear for your children. Then I realized that sleep is medicine.”

And that was also when she started to renew her bedtime.

She uses a vibrating mat to help her body relax

Always being on the go, traveling and falling into paragraphs are a normal part of Graham's daily routine. But after a long, tiring day at work, one of your favorite methods is to relax by pulling out your shoes and stepping on a vibrating mat. “When my legs feel tight and I was on my feet all day, I love to stand on my vibrating mat for 10 minutes and get a good massage,” she says.

Research agrees that it is a good habit to take care of your feet. In a study it was found that stimulating your feet improve blood circulation, promote footwear, relieve pain and induce relaxation.1

She loves a hot bathroom

Graham was not a big fan of baths before, but lately she has loved her – especially if she has a particularly stressful day. “There are days when you don't feel tired, but so wired, and that makes it really difficult to get down,” she says. “Getting into a hot bath only helps me to relax my nervous system when I'm too high energy.”

She also finds that adding a touch of bitter salt in your bathroom helps to calm your body and prepare your mind for sleep.

She takes her skin care routine very seriously

While Graham does not subscribe to the Morning Shed Trend, she has a skin care litual that she has completed every evening. The simple routine consists of moisturizing serums, moisture creams and Gua Sha to massage your face. Your current favorite products? They all come from Sandra Chius Lanshin line. We like the Intro Gua SHA tool (49 US dollars) and the Rose -Narring facial oil (46 US dollars).

It penetrates a cup of peppermint tea

Experts believe that caffeine -free, herbal teas can support sleep. Peppermint tea in particular contains anti -inflammatory and antioxidant properties that can improve the quality of sleep, the reduction of tiredness and less fear.2 Graham says that drinking peppermint tea remains well hydrated even before going to bed.

It contains magnesium

Magnesium has been the last scream lately – and that for good reason. Studies show that magnesium can help support better sleep quality and a longer sleep time, reduce stress by supporting nervous system regulation and has analgesic (alias pain -solving) properties.3Present4Present5

Graham adds magnesium to some ways at their bedtime. “I just saw this girl on Tiktok, who spoke about the spraying of magnesium on her feet and her stomach. So I started it too, and I think it was helpful,” she says. She also takes on magnesium in a supplementary form and explains that it makes it easier for her to poop.

She swears by her Olly nutritional supplements

Graham tells us that your brain needs a clock to calm down – and as many of us can refer to this feeling. Your fix? She takes the Olly Sleep supplement (14 US dollars) at night to relax, and the Olly Daily Energy (14 US dollars) in the morning to bring her body for another busy day.

Graham and her husband Justin Ervin also have the sweetest way to take these nutritional supplements. “My husband and I grab a few sleep additives, make a quick toast and 'Say Cheers' before we eat them and go to bed,” she says.

She makes her bed (and her body) very cozy

When it is finally time to go under the ceiling, Graham tells us that she is a “bad maintenance sleeper” and loves to use products that help her feel comfortable and ready for the bed. “I need industrial earplugs, an eye mask and blurry socks for my feet because they get so cold,” she explains. “I also have to be surrounded by five pillows to feel comforted and sometimes sleep with a heating pillow to be particularly cozy.”

Your sleeping routine may not be as robust as yours, but Graham explains that you have to find what works for you – and have to hold on to it. “Sleep is the best free medicine you can ever get,” she says. So what else do you wait? Get these ZZZS.
