Assassins Creed Shadows tips and tricks

Here are ours Assassins Creed Shadows tips and tricks To help you throughout Japan during your adventure:

  • Samurais cannot be murdered from the front. Samurais are some of the most dangerous enemies who cross their way and they should undoubtedly try to kill them from the front. You will block your blows! Instead, you should ideally approach you from behind or from the side. If it is inevitable to avoid them from the start, make sure you throw a kunai. You can't block that!
  • Tents can be cut. Both Yasuke and Naoe have the ability to cut tents – an action that can be incredibly useful to get invisible into them. Just make sure that someone does not look at the side of the tent that you cut …
  • Use a Kunai to destroy lanterns. Darkness is an Assassin's best friend, and while the game will teach her so early, it will make it more to destroy a lantern with a kunai. This is perfect to sneak into an invisible building, to get behind an enemy or to attract a person's attention so that they can murder them. Always think of this fact when you sneak around and don't forget that you can also extinguish candles!
  • Eagle vision increases the brightness for Naoe at night. Now we have just spoken about making things dark. So let's take a look at what to do if you need a little light. Obviously, when infiltrating a lock, you really shouldn't light a few torches, but what if you have problems to see? The use of Eagle Vision naturally increases the brightness of the game for a short time. This means that you can not only recognize enemies, but also see everything better! Remember – only Naoe can use Eagle Vision.

  • Hide the body! If you are a veteran of Assassin's Creed, you already know how important it is to hide a body or two. If this is not the case, remember that it is an excellent way to tell people that they are murdered in their region. You will look for you and that can make hiding make it difficult. Although a body leaves lying around, it can be helpful. If someone sees it, they could easily go into the blade of a person …
  • Always check for prey. Not every body offers prey, but they never want to miss anything useful. The rewards that you get from the looting of a body from resources to rations to articles that you can sell for additional mons. Do not waste the efforts you made when killing someone!
  • You can loot while hiding in cover. They may be an assassin, but they are also an article collector. Fortunately, the two can be combined because it is possible to loot certain objects without being seen. This is particularly useful if the article you want to loot on something you can hide behind because you can open it completely undetected!

  • Help the people you meet on the street. When you have the road, you will encounter a civilian who is disturbed by some unruly people. If you defeat these enemies, you can chat with the civilian and in return for your help either offer a tip for a point of interest or a sellable object. Just make sure that you can actually defeat the enemies before you attack …
  • Camps are a good place to find rations. If you explore the streets of Japan, but are only a few rations, you can always borrow some of a warehouse. There are many camps on the landscape of Japan, and almost every single one has a ration box that awaits them. Just make sure that you are not discovered during your “borrowing”.
  • Yasuke and Naoe cannot visit every place. While Assassins Creed Shadows is an open world game, certain locations for Yasuke or Naoe are completed, depending on how they are playing. If you want to visit one of these locations, you have to change character. This may sound annoying, but it is a good way to ensure that they play both characters and an excellent excuse to keep their loadouts up to date for both characters.
  • Pathfinder is useful in dangerous terrain. While you might want to avoid assassins Creed Shadows' adventure line avoiding the adventure line of Assassins, Pathfinder can be very useful when researching dangerous areas. If you are on a mountain, it offers you a safe way to your next destination! It is also useful if you ever get lost. (Japan is pretty big.)

  • Build the smithy in your hiding place immediately. One of the first buildings that you will unlock for the hiding place after you have released this place yourself is the smithy. You want to make sure you build it immediately because you can upgrade your weapons and armor at level 20. (Together with the dismantling that you do not want.) This is incredibly helpful to defeat an enemy that crosses your way. Further upgrades to the Forge unlock new level levels and the ability to add engravings to both their weapons as well as their weapons and armor.
  • Improve your hiding place. If you examine Japan, it can be difficult to remember that you have a home base for return. However, your hiding place is one of the most important places in Assassins Creed shadows, as the buildings you can construct offer important bonuses and functions for your quest. You also collect theme rooms for additional bonuses. Always make sure that you are visiting to watch the action and plan your next project. (You can also spend hours adapting the place.)
  • Pets for pets. Many of the animals that you encounter in Assassins Creed shadows can be stroked and can enable the possibility to add your hiding place as a pet. The most important thing, however, is that you will only unlock the color variant for the pet you stolen. So if you want a black dog, for example, but have only stroked a brown dog, you have to hunt a black dog to stroke.
  • Scouts can be filled. Scouts are one of the most important resources you have in Assassins Creed Shadows. You can find resources and are fundamental for the search for some quest goals. The catch? You can only use a certain number per season. Fortunately, you can fill them up in your hiding place for a price in the Kakurega.

  • You can change the season manually. The seasons will always pass when you hit a large story beat in the main campaign, but you also have the opportunity to change the season when you reach half the point. (Make sure you keep an eye on the Little season!) This can be useful if you no longer have scouts, need resources for a hiding place project or simply don't like the current season.
  • The change in the seasons changes more than the weather. The landscape will also change. Winter, for example, brings snow where they leave footprints and transform water sources into ice. For this reason, you sometimes have to adapt to this changing landscape and in certain seasons you may find that certain missions are more difficult to do.
  • Use candles as bread crumbs when you explore Kofuns. Kofuns are the graves that you can explore in return for useful rewards. (Who knows, maybe you will receive a legendary article or not.) If you have problems exploring you, make sure you light a candle you see. This is an easy way to remember the areas you have already explored!
  • Can't you fill out a Kofun? Return later. You may discover a Kofun that you simply cannot complete because you lack the article or the skills. If this happens, write down the Kofun location and return at a later date as soon as you have met this requirement. You don't want to miss an excellent prey!

Good luck in Assassins Creed Shadows!
