“This is a very exciting event for our team based on the game component for match play, which is part of ACC and National Championship Events,” said the head coach of the US state Florida Amy Bond. “We were successful in matchplay events and playing in the Old Barnwell Match Play Championship will be an enormous experience for our entire team, especially for our newcomers.”

The NCAA Division I Women's Championship of Division I was added to a play component for an elimination game in 2015. The growth of events in the season began with the championship component, and popularity in the entire college golf continued to be accepted, as the teams are preparing for their appearances in conference tournaments and the NCAA championship.

The addition of the match game to Frauengolf at College level has aroused a better game and gained more attention for the already popular sport. The championship is still more popular when more people have access to see the event because the NCAA championship is broadcast from the Golf Canal.

“To win a national championship, we have to win three games,” said Bond. “Our regular season mainly consists of Stroke's events. If we want to win, we have to win in both types of games. Match Play has a slightly different mental approach and an area in which we can be better.”

Florida State went into the Match Play Championship round at the ACC championships in two of the last four seasons and has advanced to the game game in the NCAA championship final in two of the last three seasons.
