The highlights of Charlotte's line -up were Zaha, who started his first match and striker Patrick Agyemang.

A boring first half became much frenetic in the first few minutes of the second half, similar to the game of last week against Montreal when visitors came out more energy than Atlanta United.

Charlotte was no longer energy this week. It was more about the randomness of long clarifications that were in the right place at the right time.

Charlotte took the lead in the 50th minute, similar to the opening minutes of the second half in the last week in Montreal. It started with a long freedom of ball by Charlotte. Williams won the air duel, but Zaha was the first of the second ball. It was attacked by Slisz near the top of the 18-yard box from behind. The ball rolled to Pep Biel on the right. His distracted shot rolled into the corner.

Zaha did 2-0 Charlotte in the 54th minute. The sequence started with another long clearance of Charlotte. Edwards misunderstood the passage when he and had Abada fought for the ball. Abada dripped 15 meters before making a shot that Guzan parried. The rebound went to Zaha, who shot it into the lower right corner.

Deila went in the 72nd minute with the rare four-player-Sub and brought Jamal Thiare for Latte Lath, Tristan Muyumba for Miranchuk, Silva for Saba Lobjanidze and Edwin Mosquera for Edwards. Fortune went to the right full -back and Almiron switched to the attacking midfielder. Atlanta United had 11 shots, two in the goal and an expected goals 0.8 when the U boats were made. Dominik Chong qui gave his MLS debut in the 88th minute as a sub for Williams. At the age of 17 he was the third youngest player who appears in a game in Atlanta United.
