Auburndale Deca progress to Florida

Wood County – Three members of the Deca chapter of the Auburndale High School will progress for the conference for the international career development of Deca in Orlando, Florida. The seniors Alexis Fait and McKenzie Keuffer and the Junior Jasmine Draeger will join over 20,000 high school students from the USA and Canada.
Deca is an organization of almost 300,000 students who are dedicated to the preparation of students for future careers in business, marketing and entrepreneurship. The students compete at one of 40 career -related events. Competitions include the submission of examination -related exams, research projects and the development/presentation of solutions for current business problems.
Alexis Fait is represented in the food marketing series. This is Fait's second trip to international competitions. She will try to build on her performance at the medal level from last year. FAIT is the first Auburndale student who has ever been on an international level of the Medal Medal competition.
Jasmine Draeger is in the series of personnel management. McKenzie Keuffer is represented Auburndale in the Leadership Development Academy.
The Auburndale Deca chapter is advised by Mr. David Jicinsky.
