Gypsy, proposed by the memoirs of Gypsy Rose Lee, is Broadway's ultimate story of mothers and daughters, ambition and fame as well as the length we will follow for the American dream.

The first premiere on Broadway in 1959 shows Gypsy a book by Arthur Laurents, music by Jule Styne and texts by Stephen Sondheim. The original production was an immediate classic that received critical recognition and established Mama Rose as one of the most sought -after roles in the music theater.
