Augusta Women's Tennis Drops Match on No. 6 North Georgia, which Lenoir-Rhyne organizes

Augusta, Ga. -The Women's Tennis team at Augusta University fought against No. 6 North Georgia on Sunday, but performed 5-2 in the Newman Tennis Center in a defeat.

North Georgia took the colon at the two best positions after winning. Andrea Gonzalez And Juliana Martinez fell 3-6 at No. 1 while Priscilla Landi And Julieta Palma Lied a 2-6 match at No. 2. The double match No. 3 was unfinished with Camila Taborga And Giovanna Patrocinio bound with 5-5.

In the individual game, Augusta secured two victories. Luciana Bejarano achieved a highly competitive victory at No. 3 singles and gathered for a 3-6, 6-1, 10: 7 victory. Patrocinio also achieved a strong performance in 6th place and overgrowed an early deficit to achieve a 1-6, 6-1, 6-1 win.

She won North Georgia victories in the remaining singles games. Gonzalez fell 1-6, 1-6 to No. 1, Martinez was defeated with 2: 6, 1: 6 to No. 2, and Landi had a 4-6, 2-6 result at No. 5 fought against No. 5, but fell in a narrow 5-7, 4: 6 competition.

With the loss, Augusta moves to 7: 3.
