Australia against South Africa Champions Trophy Match due to rain | Cricket News

After two games in Group B, both teams have three points ahead of Afghanistan and England who play on Wednesday.

The game of the Champions Trophy Group B between Australia and South Africa in Rawalpindi was abandoned without a ball being awakened after continuing rain kept the players off the field.

The match in the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in the city of Nordpakistani was deported at 5.10 p.m. local time (12:10 GMT) over five hours after the planned start time on Tuesday.

Light rain through the day left water pools onto the ceiling and in the outer field, which makes the view of the game impossible.

A handful of spectators with South African and Australian flags were anxious for the beginning of the game, but had to go without observing measures.

South Africa towered over the pool on the net run rate from Australia with both teams with three points after they won their opening courts against Afghanistan or England.

The latter two meet in Lahore on Wednesday, with the two best teams in each group for the semi -finals.

In the last games, Afghanistan will compete against Australia on Friday, while South Africa will play England on Saturday.

In Group A, India and New Zealand have booked their places in the last four after winning two of their three games.
