Award to 10,000 US dollars for answers to fatal Antioch shooting increased

Antioch, tenn. (WTVF) -The Metro police have announced a new reward for their help to track down the person or the people who are responsible for shooting and killing a man at a Halloween party in Antioch.

The police say that the reward had collected at $ 10,000 for information that is arrested for an arrest of 29-year-old Joshua Burns.

The shootout occurred on October 27 outside of a Halloween party on the Terragon Trail. Investigators believe that Burns was an unintentional goal of a drive-by shootout that took place around 1:15 a.m. this morning.

Burns shot into the head and later died in the Skyline Medical Center. Not long after the shootout we spoke to Burn's mother, who told us that she donated his organs, which contributed to saving six people across the country.

The family told us that they will continue to hold the hope of answers. At the moment there is no word about potential suspects or a motive for shooting.

Anyone who has information about Burns' murder is asked to call crime stopper at 615-742-7463.
