Brooke Paige explained that Rhonda Jewell took up Ariya this morning as usual. When Brooke arrived Paige to pick up her daughter during her lunch break, she was hit with a terrible scene.

Brooke Paige says that Jewell shouts and desperately ran to the car, where the baby had remained unattended for hours. Ariya Paige was strapped in with blue and purple lips in her car seat.

Her mother called in 911. The paramedics took them to the hospital, but she was too far away.

“They take the most trustworthy person they had and give them their most valuable piece of life, and suddenly, as you know, in three seconds it is as if it were over,” said Brooke Paige.

Ariya Paige's grandmother, Pamela Paige, said it's all about fighting for Ariya Paige and being her voice.

“We want the community to continue to know, all of our friends, all of our family, the entire community, to keep knowing that this is about getting justice for Ariya because it deserves it.” Pamela Paige said.
