Bandh in Beed after videos, photos linked to Sarpanch's murder

The demonstrators called for measures against suspects that were arrested in the Sarpanch murder as Minister and NCPS leader (NCP), Dhananjay Munde, on the instructions of Prime Minister Devendra Fadnavis in the morning.

In view of the bandh, the additional district magistrate Shivkumar Swamy has passed banned orders in the district by March 17.

The prohibition commands were issued in accordance with Section 37 (1) (3) of the Maharashtra Police Act, which is imposed on restrictions such as no public assemblies without prior permission, a meeting of five or more people, including rallies, protests, demonstrations and sit-ins.
