Bay Baseball will continue in the right direction under the guidance of Jon Hudson

Panama City, Florida (WJHG/WECP) -The Bay Baseball team of the Bay is still under the guidance of the head coach in the third year, Jon Hudson. After only 15 games in three seasons before the arrival of Coach Hudson, the tornados have won 24 games and have counted in two and a half seasons since then. The team's record this year is 6-3, as it comes on the field in Walton on Thursday evening. If you had seen the tornados before Hudson's arrival, you know that you would win six of your first nine this season that the program is leapshaft before you were on. We talked to the coach about the steady turnaround at the beginning of this week!

“When I arrived here, we didn't have ten boys in our program.” Trainer Hudson told us. “In the last few years we have added, we are now up to 34 children in our program. And it is a completely different facelift for the program. Children are happy to come here. Some of them are like their second chance and so they call themselves the “second chance, boys”. So it is fun to work with it, it was a good start for us. We have great pitching and this has really led us this season. “”

As for the mix of the university team this season, coach Hudson says, it consists of three seniors, ten juniors and the rest are in the second year and newcomers.

“Yes, you know that it is an interesting situation with us because all of them are pretty new in our program. They all have different experiences with the university baseball. So it was really a way to bring everyone together and feel like being a team. You know that this was the biggest challenge of saying who the leaders are, and because everyone is pretty new, we have some people who were with us. But they all worked hard and now they all trust each other and it was really a great experience in the first few weeks. ”

Bay will be back on the field at the Rutherford on Friday evening.
