Former National Security Minister Imar Ben-Gvir accused Eli Sharabi as hostages of the “Echo-Hamas Propaganda” when he spoke his experience in captivity last week during an interview with the UVDA of N12.

Ben-Gvirs accused on Saturday in an interview in Canal 13, after Sharabi found that Ben-Gvir's decision to assert stricter conditions for terrorists in Israeli prisons led to Hamas deteriorating the treatment of hostages.

“I am proud of my actions,” said Ben-Gvir, adding that he would not apologize for the decision.

This was followed by an earlier declaration on February 24, when Ben-Gvir wrote in his personal X/Twitter that “Canal 13 decided to legitimize the hosts of Hamas against the hostages, with the announcement that due to the change in the conditions of the terrorists in prison, which I had broken off by me.”

“Apparently they forgot that the terrorists murdered, raped and massacred Jews long before I implemented changes in the conditions of the terrorists in prison. They do not need an excuse for this, apart from our existence,” added Ben-Gvir.

Strict conditions for terrorist murderers

“Thousands of terrorist murderers who were in Israeli prisons enjoy spoiling and extravagant conditions. Until the members of the coalition can also react to my demand to enact a death penalty for terrorists, the conditions for terrorists in prison will continue to be the strictest,” wrote Ben-Gvir.
