Blackface 'Hass Incident' suspension was removed from the student's documents

A San Diego Middle School agreed to delete the suspension of a student who was accused of visiting a football game in Blackface in 2023.

The student and his parents sued the Muirlands Middle School after October 23, 2023 and said that the teenager was not in black face, but in the black black, a fashion trend under football and baseball athletes. The student, who is only called yes in the lawsuit, was initially suspended because of a hate incident that was called “hate incident”.

“The false allegations of Blackface on JAS Permanent school recordings could have followed him for decades and have had both his training and future career opportunities,” said JA, Karin Sweigart. “It is a relief that the school district has finally corrected this injustice.”

The incident occurred during a high school football game between the La Jolla High School and the Morse High School. At the time, Jas Father said that nobody accused his son of being in a black face in the game and that a black security guard encouraged the boy to wear the facial color.

In a suspension handed over to the family, the headmaster of Muirland's Middle School said that the student “painted his face black in a football game”, which was an “offensive comment”.

After the student's family had filed the lawsuit, the school in a settlement in February approved the suspension of JAS permanently.

“He had a fun, great night without any problems,” said the student's father at the time of the incident.
