Blazers' hot shooting hands NETS third losses in a row

The Brooklyn Nets looked at the threat of three games defeat and returned from a road trip with two games for a matchup with the Portland Trail Blazers home in the Barclays Center. Brooklyn could not reproduce his success from a victory on January 14 against Portland and fell 121-102.

Nic Claxton led the Nets with 16 points, five rebounds and three assists in the house.

Despite Cam Thomas' excitedly expected return to Brooklyn's line-up, the offensive weapon was not the main story of the early phases of the competition portal attack. The duo of the Trail Blazers from Shaedon Sharpe and Toumani Camara combined 24 points in the opening frame and ready to make their team from the field from the field into a scorching 10 von-10 start.

The visitors became cold after the perfect start and allowed the NETS balanced attack to work. Thomas only added two points in five minutes, but seven members of Jordi Fernandez 'Rotation achieved at least one field gate when Brooklyn stayed too early at eight o'clock.

Although the Trail Blazer cooled down at the end of the first quarter, they discovered their goal -sailing efficiency almost immediately in the second. Sharpe remained fatal and ended the first half with 17 points on 7-of-8 shootings and emphasized the defensive problems of the Nets. The same applies to Camara and Spearing Simons, each convenient and methodically exceeding the double -digit digits in the valuation column.

Thomas began to shake off the injury grate at the end of his 10-minute first half, although his eight-point effort would not affect the scoreboard. He and Claxton posted eight per piece, while Keon Johnson added seven of his own, but 13 sales prevented Brooklyn's offense to find his rhythm.

When the buzzer of the first half sounded, the sloppy crime and the porous defense led to a 17-point hole for Fernandez and company, which made the need for a miraculous comeback possible. Portland has an 11: 5 record against the Eastern Conference this season and violates the chances of the networks to move away from their deficit.

But that's exactly what they did. The defensive performance seemed to improve from the break, but the offensive performance seemed to be much better. Claxton started working in the interior and added six points in the third quarter when Cam Johnson seemed to settle. Unfortunately, the networks still gave up 27 points, but the flood turned late in the stanza. Brooklyn closed the third in an 8-0 run, three with the kind permission of Jalen Wilson and made the gap to just nine with 12 minutes before playing.

Without being affected by the momentum layer, Portland continued what it had all evening: to get a great open look and to put it down. Dalano Banton, a former second round of the Toronto Raptors in his second stay at the Trail Blazers, closed the door on the comeback from Brooklyn as well as the door.

In the first five minutes of the fourth quarter, he scored 11 points, including a three pointer, which increased the deficit of the NETs to 21 again. Banton's takeover left a 9-0 run in response to Brooklyn's third quarter and finally put the tilt out of reach.

Now, losers in three in a row, and four of their last five networks have a short turnaround against the red pistons in Detroit tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. EST. Cade Cunningham led the pistons to eight wins in a row, which has achieved the longest active strip in the NBA in the most successful season that Detroit has seen for years. Brooklyn tries to reduce the surprise as he ends his latest ice skating.
