Body pulled out of the river in Norwalk: FD

Norwalk, CT – the body of a woman was pulled out of Norwalk River after her clothes and her phone were found on the bank of the river, firefighters announced on Thursday afternoon.

In a press release, deputy chief Steve Shay, firefighting teams, together with the police from Norwalk and Wilton Fire Crews, said for a woman who was assumed that she had entered the river near the Wilton Center on Wednesday evening.

According to Shay, a man who went with his dog found her clothes on the banks of the river, and her phone was found later.

The crews found the body about two miles downstream near the Grist Mill Road in Norwalk, said Shay.

The crews and the police then removed the body from the river, which according to Shay moved quickly due to the strong rainfall on Wednesday evening.

The police said at 4:30 p.m. on Facebook in the area of ​​Glover Avenue near the Grist Mill Road and found that the public gave no danger.
