Boris, Fisher, Lowe called Gymnastics All-Mac

Cleveland, Ohio (Emuagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University's gymnastics team put a trio of gymnastics in the All-Mid-American Conference teams, the Mac announced on Tuesday, March 18.

senior Raisa Boris (Brooklyn Park, Minn./Park Center) earned the first team awards during Alana Fisher (Athens, Ala./Alabama Connections Academy) And Kyrie Lowe (See Worth, Fla./Park Vista) Both earned the second team awards.

The Trio of Eagles marks the first time that Eastern has recognized three student athletes as an all-Mac since the 2015 campaign. In 2015, Anna WillettePresent Chantelle LoehnerAnd Kendall Valentin Received all-conference honors.

Boris only marked the eighth Eagle to earn a first team nod in the program history, and took the third overall point among all all-rounders in the Mac with an NQS of 39.075. Although Boris showed her all-round capacity, she received the award for her beam performances in which she exceeds the Mac with a 9.850 NQS.

Boris is a six-time Mac gymnast of the week in her career and leads the green and white publications in her senior season.

In addition to her vaulted and soil efforts, Fisher went to the ray this season after she only competed on the apparatus twice before her senior campaign. In the last regular season meetings of the season, Fisher produced six beam efforts from at least 9:800 a.m. Born in Athens, Ala. Fisher's 9,845 NQS on beam is only behind Boris in the Mac.

Lowe holds 9.825 NQs at bars, good for second place in the conference. Lowe recorded a few victories at bars and two all-round victories this season. Lowe's season in Bars was highlighted by an impressive victory of 9,900 event against the Ball State on March 14th, while her top all-round score came against Sacramento State on March 9.
