Boskalis Posts Record record 2024 Annual results

Boskalis said this morning that in 2024 they exceeded all previous financial documents with all-time-high sales, results and order books. The turnover amounted to EUR 4.4 billion, which was a strong contribution from the Offshore energy department.

EBITDA and the net result rose by more than 28%after reaching record levels in 2023. The EBITDA rose to EUR 1.3 billion, the EBIT rose to EUR 926 million and the net profit rose to EUR 781 million.

The takeover of the remaining 50% to SMIT Lamnalco at the end of October 2024 also contributed to profit growth.

According to the latest announcement, the order book rose by EUR 1 billion to EUR 7 billion due to the consolidation of SMIT Lamnalco.

Peter BerdowskiCEO Boskalis, said: “2024 was an extremely good year for Boskalis, whereby all parts of the company worked exceptionally well. In every corner of the world we sailed the water white. We can look back proudly for a year that will be the best in our 115-year history in the books.

“We were busy in the Division Bagger and Domestyle last year to create innovative infrastructure such as the Fehmarnbelt -Tunnel between Germany and Denmark and the development of ports. We were also busy with a variety of climate adaptation projects – from Singapore to Zeeland in the Netherlands and from the protection of the river bank to coastal defense. “

Last year we invested over 700 million euros in equipment – another record amount for Boskalis. We have recently completed a new business plan for the next three years.

In the drainage and domestic department, sales were EUR 2.2 billion (2023: 2.3 billion EUR).

The subsequent suction haters were used in 35 weeks for considerable projects in Asia and in the Middle East.
