Brother of the viral Olympic Aussie Breakdancer 'Raygun' arrested over 100,000 US dollar Krypto scheme

The brother of the infamous Australian Olympic breakdancers Rachael Gunn, also known as “Raygun”, was arrested for suspected that he had orchestrated a cryptocurrency scheme of $ 100,000.

The Australian Securities and Investments Commission announced the indictment against Brendan Gunn on Wednesday and accused the brother of the Olympic breaker to deal with “money or other property”, which were “appropriate”, the proceeds of a crime.

“It is said that Mr. Gunn was dealt with with two bank checks that contained the proceeds from four investment amounts of a total of 181,000 US dollars that were made by three victims' reserves that have paid off funds for the conversion to cryptocurrency,” said the ASIC in a statement.

According to the authorities, Gunn is three years in prison and a fine of 37,800 US dollars.

The Australian authorities claim that Gunn had “tried to open a number of bank accounts continuously to maintain and transfer deposits, although the bank accounts were repeatedly informed about these concerns due to concerns about fraud and Mr. Gunn”.

Gunn's sister Rachel made headlines at the Olympic Games in Paris last summer and scored 0 points in the first break dance competition.

The Australian professor was competed as a “Raygun” and became the subject of a litany of internet jokes, disputes about the validity of her dance style and even conspiracy theories that surround her qualification in the event – even though she has number 1 in the world.

The spotlight and the final criticism of their performance forced Raygun to announce their retirement last November. A decision she said was made on the basis of the “disturbing” counter reaction she received online.

“I won't dance anymore, no,” said Raygun to the Australian radio broadcast 2Dayfm via CNN and added: “I'm still dancing and still breaking. But you know, it's like in my living room with my partner. It was really annoying. I just had no control over how people saw me or who I was. ”
